IT IS TUESDAY MY DUDES. So it’s AT time A fair warning: These are going to be much more difficult than simply queuing for unranked, BUT all are welcome! Just make sure you have a viable build. If you aren't sure if it's viable for this, let's get on beforehand and test it and we can talk about it. If it's from metabattle and ranked "Good" or better, then it will automatically be considered viable. Please do not test builds during automated tournaments. We obviously want to put our best foot forward for this. The goal is not to test out new things unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. There are different roles that we would ideally fill, so think about these roles when deciding what you can bring to the table: Team fighter: These are meant to spearhead team fights and do fighting on or close to the nodes *with other people there.* Support: Support is technically a team fighter as that maximizes the potential to win team fights, but it's exactly what it sounds like. You support your teammates. Side Noder/Duelist/Roamer: These classes are meant to fight away from the rest of the team and are good at holding a point against one enemy, as well as rotating to other nodes to decap/cap. Some of them can +1 other duelists and even team fights to help swing the momentum of the fight in your teams favor. These are the usual suspects for effective team roles and all are very important. The more you can do well, the better off we are! Please comment below with what you can bring to the tournament and I'll make a roster the day of! If you do not comment with that info, I will message you and ask you to do so! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me!

Hey y’all! Let’s play a game! Who: YOU! (duh) What: Capture the flag! (Kinda, just sit tight and keep reading) Where: The guild hall arena When: July 28 at 8:00pm EDT Why: Gold, Glory, Goofs, and Bragging rights! This month’s PvP tournament is not your average beat ‘em up PvP event! We’re playing a fun little capture the flag-esque game of light the torches! Basically, the object of the game is to make it through the obstacles to the other side of the arena and light as many torches as you can before time runs out. But there’s a catch! You have an enemy team trying to do the exact same thing! But fear not, my friends. Here’s where the PvP aspect comes into play: You can kill them Rules and FAQs - You and another friend will face off against another friend and another friend to light torches in the guild hall arena. Each torch lit at the end counts as a point. There will be a 2 minute timer and whoever has the most torches lit by the end wins that round. It will be best 2 out of 3. - “But Cowbow, what if someone else beats me in hand to hand combat to the death?” No problem! Respawn as quick as you can and get back in there! You can this as many times as it takes within the 2 minutes! THAT BEING SAID. Don’t bleed your enemies out. If you down them, FULL KILL THEM. This ain’t that serious - let folks play the game. - No Thief or Mesmer classes (elite specs included). The prospect of perma stealth is something that I feel would detract from the overall great time that this could be. - “You mentioned obstacles, my dude. What does that entail?” Well you got your standard vortex traps, traps that’ll push you into a sand shark pit (hehehe), and some traps that will chill you to the bone. Nothing that hurts you except the sharks but that’s funny so it’s all good. - This is the PvE arena in the guild hall. It is HIGHLY recommended that you have a level 80 character with at least exotic armor. - These rules are still subject to some tweaking. I will POST not ping in the PvP channel if changes are made, so stay tuned! Prizes: We have a myriad of weapon skins in the guild bank that we will be giving away for these prizes! There will also be some gold for participants who don’t place in the top 3. Either way, this should be a fun time, so smash that “going” button and come hang out, get some prizes just for showing up, and have a great time watching your friends get forcibly thrown into a sand shark pit or something! If you have any questions at all, let me know!
